Please read these terms of service carefully because this is the official Terms of Service Agreement (“Agreement”) for Tinavg (“Site”, “Game”), an Internet website owned and operated by David Pollack (“Tinavg”). By using this Site, you understand, acknowledge and agree that you will abide by the terms of this Agreement.

Some of the contents of this Site, including all Site software, design, illustrations, fonts, audio material, artwork and all copyrightable or otherwise legally protectable elements of the Site, including, without limitation, the 'look and feel' and arrangement of items (“Material”) are the property of Tinavg. You shall not (whether or not for your benefit) reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, disseminate, broadcast or circulate to any third party, or otherwise use, any copyrighted Material without the express prior written consent of Tinavg. Portions of this site are built on open-source software and the use of these pieces of software is dictated by their respective licenses.

However, you can publish portions of the game (in the form of screenshots or screencasts) in order to present the game.

Disclaimer and limitations of liability this site

The aim of Tinavg is a help people learn different alphabets in a fun, fast-paced manner. Tinavg does not guarantee that:

• It will meet your expectations relating to the achievement of joy and satisfaction that comes from playing the Game or learning words in foreign languages.
• It will work on every browser and on every device.
• It will be available for use, or that all features, functions or operations will be available or perform without errors.
• Information gained from the game will be free of errors (although we really try them to be flawless).

You understand and you agree that this Game, and all Materials are made available on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any representation or warranty of any kind and that playing Tinavg is at your own risk. Tinavg shall not be liable for any loss, material or immaterial, caused by the use of information from Tinavg.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy therefore we explain exactly how we collect, store, and use the information collected about you online.

Tinavg stores the following data.

• The first data type is website analytics. We store when people have visted the site.
• The second type of data is assigned to a logged in user and is collected to build game statistics in the future. For logged in users, we record all the answers, both correct and incorrect. We record the word that player was asked to answer, and the game language. The collected information will be used to building statistics for the site and possible as an API for language learning research.
• The third type of data is for monitoring websites traffic. We use Cloudflare Analytics.

We use LocalStorage and Firebase to remember registered players. We can also use them to save different settings for the convenience of users. We do not use traditional "cookies" which are relatively less secure and private than these technologies.

Email addresses will not be disclosed or sold to any third parties and other entities. Login data is handled by third parties. We do not have any access to user passwords.

Modifications

We reserve the right to change the terms of this Agreement. We will post or display notices of changes on the Site and/or e-mail you about these changes. If you use the Site after they become effective it will signify your agreement to be bound by the changes.
